Deceased Name: NATHAN H. SEGAL Nathan H. Segal, 82, died Saturday, April 10, 1999, in St.
Joseph Residence in New London, Wis. He was born July 9, 1916, in Eveleth, the son of the late
Charles and Molly Segal. Nathan was a lifeguard as a teen-ager. He loved to swim,
fish and fix things. On April 1, 1939, he and three friends left Eveleth in a
Model A Ford and drove to Seattle, where they booked passage on a ship to
Fairbanks, Alaska. From Alaska, Nate traveled to San Francisco to Leadville,
Colo., and to Utah before returning to Minnesota and settling in Duluth where
he married Selma Levenson. She preceded him in death, along with a son, Greg.
Nate is survived by his daughter, Randie (Jon) Williams;
his grandchildren Kai and Gabe Williams; his fishing buddy, Mike Weidert; and
his sisters Jane Cohen and Ethel King of Los Angeles. Friends may call: at the 3 p.m. service today in Wichmann
